Christina grew up practicing and teaching martial arts throughout her teenage and early adult years, always believing she couldn’t dance because she didn’t have a sense of rhythm and she was the “tough girl”. After moving to Seattle and going through a big life and belief system transition, she started trying out lots of things, including pole, and as soon as she found Divine Movement she was obsessed! Pole helped her appreciate her own body for what it can do and feel more comfortable in her own skin, while pushing her physically and mentally. Since finding pole, Christina has continued to try out lots of new things but always comes back to her home at Divine. She now loves to share what she has learned and her love for pole with students through teaching at Divine!
