Jessica began dancing at Divine Movement in January of 2009 after deciding she needed a new workout. With an educational background in strength, conditioning, and personal training, she was interested in exploring different and new exercise trends. While a student at Divine Movement, she discovered creative movement was a way to reconnect with the acceptance and confidence previously lost, as life has many twists and turns. She celebrates being a woman and embraces everything she has to offer by empowering women to value how truly beautiful and sexy they are no matter how they may appear.
Jessica has a varied 10 year technical and dance based background ranging from beginner to intermediate pole. She also participated as a Pole Sport Organization northwest championship judge. These days, you will find her focus is on beginner workshops and pole parties.
Why do you love Divine Movement?
Divine touches the lives of women in unexpected ways
What do you consider your teaching style?
I want my students to feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared about. I allow my students to have freedom to move the way they feel best by encouraging confidence and integrity. I also like to provide different levels of difficulty so that every student can feel like they are able to do some level of the warm-up or spin and transition effectively. I enjoy sharing with other women everything I have learned at Divine Movement by creating a judgment free zone and a fun learning environment.
