2013 Teacher Training Schedule:
2013 Phase 1: Basic Spins and Climb- July 19th and 20th from 2pm-8pm in our Kirkland studio.
2013 Phase 2: Basic Inversions- August 10th and 11th. Saturday from 2-8pm and Sunday from 1-7pm. Kirkland studio.

Our teacher training program is open to the public. Receiving training from Divine will allow you to begin your teaching career with confidence and will provide you with the experience and credentials you need to teach classes anywhere.

Each phase of training consists of 3 parts.
- Live in studio training on moves, spins and climbing (App. 12 hours)
- Video review/study (hours vary)
- Practical teaching practice on real students in a real class. 5 classes (10 hours. You will observe and assist the instructor)
Phase 1: Spins and Climb
Cost for Phase 1 is: $750
Phase 1 will focus on the spin. Learn the basics of building a beautiful spin and a perfect climb as well as how to identify common student errors! This course will cover all you need know to lead your first class with confidence including basic pole terminology and safety and tips on creating a great class environment.
-12 hours of instruction learning technical skills on all basic spins and the climbing progression as well as basic pole moves and conditioning moves.
-Full access to D.M. private instructional videos.
-Manual of all moves learned in the Phase 1 curriculum. This manual will be ordered in a safe teaching progression.
-5 class pass to take our drop in classes. (Pole 101 and Basic Spins classes only).
In order to qualify for Phase 2: Basic Inversions you must pass a practical and written exam.
The test will be in 3 parts:
1. Student demonstrates the spin 2. Student identifies positioning errors demoed by Angi 3. A short written exam
Phase 2: Basic Inversions
Cost for Phase 2 is: $750
This Phase focuses on how to get your student upside down safely and efficiently.
We will be dissecting each of the 11 most basic pole inversions that your student needs to master before learning more difficult moves.

Phase 3: Inversion Combos and Intermediate Inversions
Hours to be determined. Expect longer hours than Phase 2 as moves are more challenging.

Total cost for all three phases: $2350
Package Deals:
Phase 1 and 2: $1400 (Save $100)
Phase 1,2 and 3: $2050 (Save $200)
Note: For those of you who are interested in teaching at Divine, we are not hiring at this time but will always recruit Divine ‘apprentices’ from our teacher training program and student base as needed. (Apprentices are trainees who eventually will teach at our studio).
